I always thought I don't have a 'fashion style', I'm not mumsy, elegant, hipster, cool... but I have, I verge between messy (skinny jeans, messy hair, hoodies and trainers) and messy but trying to look smarter (skinny jeans, messy hair, blazer, DMs).
When I go out (and that is very rare) I wear short colourful sequin skirts and mismatching blouses (messy hair).
I hate shopping for clothes so I tend to wear the same thing over and over until it falls apart.
But today in H&M my daughter suggested I try this coat and I love it. I think she was actually joking. My son loves it and encouraged me to buy it. So I did. I had actually gone in to buy cardigans for work (yawn) but I bought the coat instead (I couldn't afford them too after buying it). But who cares right? I have my new coat. * swirls *
So, is taking fashion advise from your kids a good idea?
Will my daughter really be happy when I wear it when we are out?
Should I have been sensible and bought the cardigans?
My son said it looked like we had stolen a dog and hidden it in the bag when I was leaving the shop with it
