I've always been a firm believer that people can't enjoy shows and events anymore because they are too busy filming them on their mobile phones. Why do they film them? I think a lot of people do it just so the can share on social media and show off where they have been/what they are doing. Do they actually watch these videos back at later dates? I doubt many do.
Recently I've been to a few concerts and my view has been obstructed (God I sound like a grumpy old woman) by people holding their mobiles above them to film the show. It pisses me off. I can't see the stage because of the sea of mobiles held high. No one can bloody see! Just rows of emotionless robots standing with their mobiles above their heads, filming the event so everyone on their social media apps knows where they are. How dull. Live in the moment people.
Am I being unreasonable?
